Jim's Christmas Letters

I started writing these epistles after receiving several multi-page letters from a co-worker that were so dripping with praise of their darling children, that I could not let it go unanswered. Thus, planting tongue firmly in cheek and trying not to choke on my tonsils, I started my own series.

The response was more than encouraging. The co-worker's letters, actually written by his wife, continued to a peak of three pages printed on both sides! But more important were the new letters that started to come back from friends and family. Many of these letters are my only contact with far-away friends, former classmates and others with whom more mundane contact has been lost.

Thus I offer my letters of past years so you can catch up. Hopefully they will give you a chuckle or two. Most of the early years were printed on this cheesy Christmas letter paper that I used to make up for the fact that I did not own a color printer. Since I no longer have any of the paper I can't scan it to give the "full effect" in these electronic versions.

Most letters are in Adobe Acrobat 5-6 format.
